GroupReady

The GroupReady curriculum

Complete groups.
A plan for leading each one.

A growing library of complete groups for adult behavioral-health facilitation, with teaching, discussion, practical activities, and participant materials connected from the start.

At launch: 60 group topics and 120 duration-specific sessions.

Choose what fits the room

A useful topic is
only the beginning.

The curriculum supports structured conversations in adult behavioral-health, counseling, and substance-use recovery settings. Choose a topic based on your group’s needs, your role, and the setting.

Each plan includes a goal, preparation, a full Facilitator Guide, matching Participant Handouts and Sample Responses, and Facilitator Mode for delivery.

When you’re searching for group therapy worksheets or recovery group activities, the next question is often how to lead the conversation around them. GroupReady provides that surrounding plan.

The foundation behind the facilitation

Built on evidence-based practice.

GroupReady’s original curriculum is grounded in evidence-based behavioral-health practice. Established approaches and supporting sources inform what each lesson teaches and how participants practice it.

Teaching, realistic activities, discussion, Participant Handouts, Sample Responses, and Facilitator Mode are developed as one connected session. The facilitator has a clear learning purpose and practical guidance for working toward it.

How a lesson becomes a group you can lead

  1. Start with a learning purpose.

Identify what participants should understand, notice, practice, or apply. Ground that purpose in relevant behavioral-health approaches and supporting sources.

  2. Build the complete session.

Translate the idea into teaching, realistic examples, activities, discussion, and application. Develop separate 30- and 60-minute sessions with a workable sequence.

  3. Connect guidance and materials.

Develop what to say and ask, what to listen for, More Guidance, and support for difficult moments. Align the Participant Handout and Sample Responses with the session.

  4. Refine for real use.

Edit for clear instructions, natural language, pacing, and consistency across the Facilitator Guide, participant materials, and live delivery.
